About Josh
I’m running for Springdale City Council, because I believe it’s time for a new day in Springdale. We need to abandon the old style politics of the powerful, and adopt a governance based on reason, respect for the citizens, and respect for our hardworking city employees. I’m running in Ward 3, for Position 2.
I’m 29 years old, and I’ve lived in Springdale most of my life. I attended Elmdale Elementary School, Shiloh Christian High School, and The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
Several years ago, I left the professional video production industry to fulfill a call of God to be a full-time minister. I’ve served as the Student Minister at New Hope Fellowship in Springdale since that time.
My parents, Cliff and Carol Jenkins, have served together in full-time Christian Ministry for over 30 years. They worked hard to teach me, and my sisters (Melody Jenkins & Leslie Jenkins), the values of integrity and hard work. I’ve certainly not lived a perfect life, but I strive to reflect the values taught by my parents, and rooted in the Word of God.
I’m running to serve the citizens first, and to bring a new day to Springdale politics. This race won’t be easy; I’m asking for your support and for your vote. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
